Whalton Manor Garden

Whalton Manor Gardens were designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens with the help of Gertrude Jekyll in 1908. The creativity and outstanding design skills brought together in this famed partnership are not lost on Whalton Manor Garden. The vast stone paved courtyard with the circular staircase, the Italianate and hexagonal summerhouses and many more of Lutyen's architectural gems can be seen in the garden and around the house .The garden itself has been continuously developed by the Norton family since 1920 to become the magical place it is today.
