Opening Times & Access

Garden Opening Times throughout 2024 

The garden will be open to the public every Wednesday from 17th April until 25th September 2024.

Entrance is 2-2.15pm every Wednesday at the arches between the main house.  You will be met by one of the Gardening Team who will show you in and answer any questions you may have.

Entrance fee is £8.50 per person payable on arrival (please note we have no card machine).  No need to book.  Tea/Coffee and Biscuits will be available from the Game Larder with a donation box.  Plants will be available for purchase.

Group and Coach Tours are welcome on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between April and September by prior appointment only.

Parking

The house is located in the Northumberland village of Whalton and there is plenty of parking available on the road outside the house for cars and coaches. There is also turning space for coaches.

Disabled Access

Whalton Manor is an historic garden, disabled access is limited as there are steps at different levels.

We do however manage to get most people around the garden and with advance notice we can provide assistance.
